Sunday 31st May - walks *** – Felixstowe pier and Levington Marina – sunny periods and hot.

Walk 1 – Down to Felixstowe pier early.
Just got back from an amazing week down near Ross on Wye with the family, great to see our two Grandchildren together, just perfect. Mag was up very early, in her garden at 4.45 and was there for 5 hours enjoying herself, the garden looks wonderful despite the recent heat wave, a big thank you to a neighbour for watering the garden and feeding the cats:) After a full-on week of mountain biking, walking and a brilliant canoe down the Wye I was knackered but I decided to walk down to Felixstowe Pier at 6.45 to take a few weather pics.

Walk 2 – Levington Marina.

There was a hint of a breeze from the west so I was tempted to put the foil board in the van for a drive over to Levington marina at 10 to check out the conditions. There was some nice wispy clouds with a blue sky but there was not enough breeze to get me to rig up, I might have put up my 7.5 but left my long mast in the garage! So I did my second hobby as I walked around the marina taking a few pics! Then home to do my exercises in the garden before driving to visit our friend Linda at her caravan and had a lovely catch up:)
